Police: Mother leaves baby at home, then robs gas station | Crime
A Wayne County mother is facing charges after police say she left her infant at home while she robbed a gas station at gun point.
Shannon Huff, 32 of Ontario, is charged with robbery and child endangerment.
Police say in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Huff went to the Kwik Fill Union Hill gas station on Route 104 – where she is a frequent customer – held the cashier at gunpoint and demanded cash from the register.
Investigators along with a K-9 unit were able to track Huff to her residence. Police say during the time of the robbery, Huff left her 10-month-old child home alone.
Huff was remanded to Wayne County jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
