Deputies: Sodus man violated order of protection, resisted arrest | Crime
A 48-year-old Sodus man has been arrested for criminal contempt.
Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies say Andrew Lefever violated a stay away order of protection. Investigators say Lefever violated the order by being around his wife and then getting into a fight with her.
When deputies tried to arrest him, they say Lefever became combative. He’s additionally charged with resisting arrest.
Lefever was arraigned and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond. He is due in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
