Walworth woman charged with assault, criminal contempt | Crime

Two Walworth residents are facing charges following a domestic dispute.

Macedon Police say 39-year-old Michael Tai spit in 37-year-old Laurie Kurdziel-Tai’s face and hit her while she was grabbing his throat and scratching his neck, causing lacerations and bleeding.

Tai was charged with second-degree harassment.

Kurdziel-Tai was charged with assault and criminal contempt for violating a current order of protection. She was arrayed and remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
