Marion man charged with DWI | Crime

A Marion man is charged with DWI.

Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies say Brandon K. Whitney, 35, of Marion, was stopped at 2:30am Saturday by deputies for  vehicle and traffic violations on State Route 21 in the town of Marion. Sheriff's Deputies say Whitney was under the influence of alcohol and failed a field sobriety test.

Whitney is charged with DWI, aggravated driving with 0.18% or greater blood alcohol content and failure to keep right.

He is due back in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
