Sodus man charged with choking woman in parking lot of bank in Canandaigua

A Sodus man is facing charges after police say he choked a woman in the parking lot of a bank in Canandaigua.

Leonard D. Windsor, 29, of Sodus, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and harassment. Police say Windsor got into physical domestic incident where he pulled the hair and then choked a woman while in the rear parking lot of the Chase Manhattan Bank on South Main Street in Canandaigua.

Windsor was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.

Three men arrested in connection with robberies at adult entertainment stores in Wayne County

Three men have been arrested in connection with different robberies at an adult entertainment store in Wayne County.

Twenty three-year-old Patrick Liberatore and 20-year-old Steven Farmer are facing charges. The two are accused in an armed robbery at Ontario Video and News Thursday night. The sheriff’s office believes the men are also involved in two previous robberies at the same store, both of which happened in February.

A third man, 20-year-old Nathan Bump, of Wayland, is facing charges in connection to one of those robberies. 

The sheriff's office says all of these investigations are ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Ex-security guard charged in connection with bomb threat

A former security guard is behind bars after Wayne County Sheriff's Deputies say he threatened to bomb a factory in Palmyra.

Sheriff's Deputies say 42-year-old Donald Mosher of Manchester called the Garlocks Corporation Saturday night and threatened to blow it up. Deputies say Mosher is a former security guard of the sealing and packaging factory.

Investigators say employees were evacuated and bomb sniffing dogs were brought in, but nothing suspicious was found. Investigators say Mosher made another threat Wednesday, just moments before he was arrested.

Mosher is charged with making a false report.

Woman charged with misuse of food stamps

A Savannah woman is facing charges for letting someone use her food stamps.

Sheriff's deputies say Felicia M. Henry, 41, of Savannah,allowed another person to use her SNAP benefits. 

Henry was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Village of Lyons Court at a later date.

Deputies: Mother smoked marijuana while driving with 11-month-old child in car

Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies say a woman was driving high on drugs with her 11-month-old child in the car.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 23-year-old Katherine Madden of Lyons on Sunday after she was pulled over on Sutton Road in the town of Seneca.

News10NBC is told Madden and 29-year-old David Bender, who was also in the car, admitted to smoking marijuana while the baby was also inside the car.

They say Madden failed a series of sobriety tests, and a drug recognition expert determined she was impaired by drugs at the time.

Madden was charged with DWAI Drugs, DWI LeAndra’s Law, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Bender was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Madden and Bender will answer to the charges at a later date.

Sodus man allegedly had sexual relationship with child

A Sodus man is in custody after he allegedly had sex with a child, Wayne County Sheriff's deputies said. This story comes to us from our news partners at the Messenger Post Newspapers. 

Gerald M. Craig, 21, of Sodus, is charged with six counts of second-degree rape, eight counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of third-degree sex abuse and one count of second-degree criminal sex act.

Sheriff's deputies say Craig was having a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old victim. The relationship is alleged to have occurred in the town of Sodus. Craig was arrested at a residence in the town of Wolcott.

Craig was arraigned in Sodus Town Court and sent to the Wayne County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail bond. He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.

Wayne County man arrested in cocaine investigation

A Wayne County man is behind bars after investigators say they discovered cocaine in the suspect's home.

Newark Police say the narcotics were discovered after police executed a search warrant at the Elm Street home of 48-year-old Larry Dennis. Police say Dennis is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police say Dennis is currently being held at the Wayne County Jail. News10NBC has learned the arrest is part of an ongoing investigation of cocaine distribution in the Village of Newark.
