There will be a new principal at Seton Catholic School in Brighton next year.

Linda Moll will be replacing Anthony Cook, who has been named to replace Anne Willkens Leach as superintendent of Catholic Schools for the diocese. Willkens Leach is retiring next month.

Moll, who lives in Williamson, Wayne County, has been an English Language Arts teacher at St. Mary's School in Canandaigua for the past five years. She has also worked at St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Ontario and had teaching positions in Silver Creek, Hannibal and Williamson.

Past Exalted Ruler Emily Wunder of Lyons Elks Lodge No. 869 has named Ed Gnau as Officer as of the Year for 2012-2013 who during the recent Elk year held the position of Treasurer.  

As an officer, he participated in a wide variety of activities and programs sponsored or conducted by the Lyons Elks Lodge. Lyons Elks Lodge is a member of the West Central District of Elks which has lodges in the communities of Rochester, Seneca Falls, Newark, Webster-Fairport, Canandaigua, Wolcott and Lyons.  

The organization of Elks is a national fraternity of men and women. The New York State Association has over 60,000 members and is recognized for their many charitable works involving military veterans, youth and those afflicted with Cerebral Palsy.
