Police: Fairport woman found dead after possible horse riding accident | News

A young woman was found dead after what State Police say was likely a horse riding accident.

Twenty-year-old Kaylee Rizzo-Brien of Fairport was discovered by her mom lying on Lyon Road in Palmyra Tuesday afternoon.

Police say she had gone riding on her horse but the horse returned to the stables without her on it. She suffered from massive head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say she was not wearing a helmet.

They are still investigating but they say she likely died in a horse riding accident and was not hit by a car.
