Officials in Wayne County say an officer was involved in a crash early this morning.
Police say a Wayne County deputy was on Route 441 in Walworth. He was on his way to a call, with his lights and sirens on.
According to police, the deputy approached a car that failed to yield the right of way. The driver attempted to turn left instead of pulling over. This caused both cars to collide and leave the roadway.
Police say the car was driven by an unlicensed juvenile as the owner of the vehicle sat behind as a passenger.
