Meet Baxter!

Meet Baxter!

Baxter is a super sweet 11-year-old male Boxer who was brought to Lollypop Farm after living with his previous owner his whole life. His owner was moving and couldn't afford to bring him along.

Baxter is a sweet and friendly older dog. He's a real lover who likes people and attention. Baxter is said to be like a shadow and will follow you around wherever you go and likes to be near you when relaxing at home. Lollypop Farm recommends that Baxter go to a home with kids age 10 or older and he must meet any dogs already living in the home. Baxter has some arthritis issues so while he may not be able to go for a long hike or play like a puppy, he would make someone a wonderful and calm companion.

Baxter is available for our Seniors-for-Seniors program where approved adopters age 60 or older can adopt him for free. Come meet Baxter at Lollypop Farm in Fairport. This lovable older guy needs a new home for his golden years!

Meet Brooke!

Meet Brooke!

Lollypop Farm recommends that Brooke go to a home with kids age 14 or older and she must meet any dogs already living in the home. Brooke and her new owner will need to take training classes to help her manners and to give her confidence a boost. Her adopter will receive a discount on their first 6 week training session together. Come meet Brooke and give this lovable gal a fresh start!

Seymour, our "Friday's Friend" from last week, has been adopted!

Meet Seymour!

Meet Seymour!

Seymour is an adorable two-month-old male Bernese mountain dog mix who was born while his mom was under Lollypop Farm's care. He's spent the past two months in foster care, but now he's ready to find a permanent new home. Seymour is a friendly and laid back dog, but is also still just a puppy so his new owner should be prepared for the responsibility and time commitment that goes along with owning a puppy.

Lollypop Farm recommends that Seymour go to a home with kids age 10 or older and he must meet any kids in the family since he doesn't have a history of being around them. He will also need to meet any dogs already living in the home. Seymour and his new owner will need to take training classes to help his socialization skills and to give his confidence a boost. We offer a Puppy Head Start class that would be perfect for Seymour and his new adopter! Come meet Seymour and bring this cutie home today!

Meet Jade

Meet Jade

Meet Jade! Jade is a five-year-old female hound mix who was brought to Lollypop Farm because her previous owner was having difficulties and could no longer care for her. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but give her some time to sniff around and a few treats, and she warms right up. She does well on a leash and enjoys chin scratches. Jade is a sweet and lovable girl. Lollypop Farm recommends that Jade go to a home with kids age 14 or older and she must meet all family members to make sure everyone sniffs out O.K.! Jade can be a little unsure of other dogs so she will need to meet any dogs already in the home and someone in Lollypop Farm's Behavior department can also give you some helpful information. Jade and her new owner will need to take training classes to help her socialization skills and to give her confidence a boost.

Meet Bandit!

Meet Bandit!

Bandit's owners were having difficulties of their own, and could not care for her. She seems to have questions in her eyes, and just not understanding why her world got turned upside down.

She is an eight-year-old English Springer Spaniel/mix. Her coat is so soft you just want to run your fingers through it, and Bandit thinks that is OK as long as you scratch her back too! Her backside has a very abbreviated tail.

She did beautifully on a leash, was content to just sniff her way around the court yard. This calm girl is another gem in the Seniors-for-Seniors program. Approved adopters aged 60 or over can bring this fine girl home at no fee.

She is another dog looking for a second chance at a great home.

Meet Pokey!

Meet Pokey!

Pokey is a two-year-old female terrier/pit bull mix who was found as a stray on the Onondaga reservation and brought to Lollypop Farm. She is a friendly girl whose name suites her. Pokey moves along at a slow pace and is not in a hurry to get anywhere. She prefers cuddles to toys, likes treats, and does well on a leash.

Lollypop Farm recommends that Pokey go to a home with kids age 14 or older, and she must meet all family members. Our behavior department feels Pokey would be best as the only dog in the home and she does not like cats or small animals, so she needs to go to a home with no kitties or critters. Pokey would also benefit from training classes to boost her confidence. Come meet Pokey at Lollypop Farm in Fairport. This great lady deserves a loving new home!
